Energize Delaware’s Business Technical Assistance Program offers no-cost support to owners of mid-size commercial and nonprofit buildings (10,000–50,000 sq. ft.) and their energy efficiency contractors. The program helps evaluate the cost-benefit of energy improvements such as HVAC upgrades, LED lighting, and solar installations.
In addition to technical assistance, qualifying upgrades may be eligible for low-cost, long-term commercial loans and cash incentives through Energize Delaware.
Sustainable Real Estate Solutions (SRS), a firm with over a decade of experience in state-run energy programs, administers the technical assistance. Using its proprietary Energy Performance Improvement Calculator (EPIC™), SRS estimates energy savings, greenhouse gas reductions, and financial impacts of high-efficiency equipment.
