Energize Delaware Programs
Energize Delaware’s Solar for Libraries Grant Program offers public libraries across the state the opportunity to go solar.
County and Local Governments that are interested in adding Electric Vehicles to their fleets can now get assistance.
Energize Delaware’s Solar for School Districts Grant Program offers districts across the state the opportunity to go solar.
D-PACE is designed to help qualifying commercial, industrial, agricultural, nonprofit and multifamily (with five or more units) property owners access long term financing for the installation of qualifying energy improvements. Such improvements may include any construction, renovation or retrofitting of energy efficient technology, clean energy systems, or qualifying waste heat recovery technologies that are permanently fixed to qualifying commercial property.
This program for public, non-profit and faith-based organizations offer low-interest financing for the installation of energy efficiency measures, renewable energy generation and greenhouse reduction measures.
This program for schools, universities, municipalities, hospitals, churches and nonprofits covers the assessment and implementation of energy and water efficiency improvement projects; and uses the long-term utility cost savings to help pay for them.
We’ve partnered with Delaware Interfaith Power & Light to bring this program of inexpensive energy audits, remediation strategies and cost-saving advice and education to faith communities statewide.
This program provides grants and resources to Delaware’s K-12 schools, while also recognizing and rewarding them for becoming healthier, more sustainable and more energy efficient.
This program for senior and community centers, churches, firehouses and municipal buildings provides energy assessments that help identify and implement efficiency improvements to deliver energy savings of 20 to 30 percent.
Schools with solar electricity can earn extra income by selling their excess energy back to Delmarva Power through the SREC (Solar Renewable Certificates) Energy Auction.
Other Programs
This program offer schools grants to offset the installed cost of photovoltaics, solar water heating, wind and geothermal renewable energy technologies, and are available to customers of certain Delaware-based utilities.

This fund provides prescriptive incentives to help public and nonprofit organizations install high-efficiency natural gas heating and water heating equipment, lighting and controls, vending improvements, and more.
