Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® for Homeowners
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® takes a whole-house approach to finding where you may be losing energy. We then recommend what to do and show you the resulting savings you can expect.
Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®
The program for income-qualified Delaware property owners (and renters via their landlord), offers a comprehensive home energy assessment and energy efficiency upgrades at significantly reduced costs.
Home Energy-Efficiency Loan Program
You may be eligible for special financing when you want to make energy-efficient improvements to your home.
Affordable Multifamily Housing
This program provides owners of multifamily dwellings with technical assistance, incentives and low-cost financing to reduce building operating costs and improve the living environment for residents.
Home Energy Counseling and Check-up Program
The Home Energy Counseling and Check-Up Program is designed to empower Delaware residents by providing access to high-quality energy-efficiency education, products and services.
Residential Solar Loans
These low-interest loans are available to credit-qualified Delawareans who own a single-family home or duplex. Going solar lets you take advantage of incentives like a 30 percent federal tax credit.
Solar Renewable Energy Credits
Homeowners with solar electricity can earn extra income by selling their excess energy back to Delmarva Power through the SREC (Solar Renewable Certificates) Energy Auction.
Empowerment Grant Program
Energize Delaware was selected to be the grant manager of $4 million in funds from the Exelon/Delmarva Power merger settlement. These funds are designated for energy efficient programs and will be distributed competitively to organizations capable of serving low income customers over a three-year period.

Weatherization Assistance
This program for low-income households helps participants save an average of $437 per year on energy costs while making their homes healthier, safer and more comfortable.
Green Energy Program
Specifically for Delmarva Power, DEC and DEMEC customers, this program provides grants to offset their installed cost of photovoltaic, solar water heating, wind and geothermal renewable energy technologies.
