Faith-Based Communities: Plant Native Gardens with NWF

To help expand conservation efforts across the state, Energize Delaware is partnering with the National Wildlife Federation to bring native garden habitats to faith communities throughout Delaware. Through the Sacred Grounds program, 15 faith-based organizations will install native pollinator gardens on their properties this fall. These gardens will provide essential habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while also creating beautiful, educational green spaces for congregations and their surrounding communities. By working together with local faith groups, the initiative aims to support biodiversity, promote environmental stewardship, and inspire communities across Delaware to play an active role in protecting native wildlife.
