Congratulations to Nichole Krambeck of Insights Ag Scouting, LLC on being recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as one of Delaware’s inaugural Rural Small Businesses of the Year!
Based in Wyoming, Delaware, Nichole delivers independent, boots-on-the-ground crop scouting and field data services to farmers across the Delaware Peninsula. Her work helps producers make timely, informed decisions on pest management, crop health, nutrient use, and overall farm productivity. Krambeck’s approach emphasizes accuracy, responsiveness, and practical recommendations rooted in real-world field conditions. Her clients include both row-crop and specialty crop operations, reflecting the diversity of the region’s agricultural economy.
At Energize Delaware, we’re proud to be working with Nichole through our Rock Dust Pilot Program. In partnership with Trap Rock Industries and Marvel Farms, Energize Delaware funded a research project investigating the feasibility of generating carbon credits through enhanced rock weathering (ERW) on Delaware’s farms. ERW utilized scrap rock dust from mining operations to speed along a natural process in which carbon dissolved in rainwater reacts with surface minerals and is sequestered for hundreds of years.
We’re excited to continue working alongside you and look forward to seeing the continued impact of your work in Delaware’s agricultural community.
