The Harrington Public Library participated in Energize Delaware’s Solar for Nonprofits program, and we’re proud to celebrate the completion of their new 84.39 kW solar array!

Through our $249,800 grant, we’re helping the library reduce energy costs while investing in a cleaner, more sustainable future for Sussex County and communities across Delaware. This project is a great example of how renewable energy can make a meaningful difference for local institutions and the people they serve.

Energize Delaware’s Solar for Nonprofits Program provides financial support to help eligible nonprofit organizations and libraries make the transition to solar energy. By helping reduce the upfront cost of solar installations, the program makes renewable energy more accessible while supporting long-term energy savings and sustainability.

We’re excited to support the Harrington Public Library and proud to be part of efforts to expand clean energy and build a more sustainable Delaware for generations to come.
