In addition, we are thrilled to share that our first National Wildlife Federation Schoolyard Habitat grant was awarded to Gauger‑Cobbs Elementary School for a seed‑starting operation that will produce native plant seedlings for multiple re‑wilding projects across their 300‑acre campus in Newark, Delaware.
When implemented, all these projects will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and expand hands‑on environmental learning opportunities across K–12 schools statewide. Congratulations to all of this year’s grantees! Stay tuned for mini grant applications for 2026-2027.
